What is the difference between Fourvenues and the venue or event organizer?

Modified on Wed, 19 Aug at 11:36 AM

To provide you with fast and efficient support, it is essential to understand the role played by Fourvenues and which responsibilities belong exclusively to the venue, club, or promoter organizing the event.

As a general rule, Fourvenues is the technology provider, while the organizer is legally and commercially responsible for the party or event.

The organizer's role

The organizer is the legitimate owner of the event and the party receiving the sales revenue.

Therefore, they are the only party with the legal and operational authority over:

Your ticket rights: Authorizing refunds, allowing date changes, managing name changes, or validating guest list passes.
Prices and fees: Setting ticket prices, increasing price tiers, setting VIP table prices, and determining the booking fees (GGDD).
Admission conditions: Setting the minimum age for entry, the dress code, discounted entry times, and exercising the right of admission at the venue entrance.
The event experience: Artist schedules, door opening times, lineup changes, and the decision to postpone or cancel the event.

Fourvenues' role

We are responsible for maintaining the platform's technology to ensure that your purchase process is convenient and secure. Our responsibilities are limited to:

• Ensuring payment security: Validating transactions under banking security protocols and 3D Secure (3DS) verification.
Providing digital support: Hosting your tickets in the "My Wallet" section and sending automatic confirmation emails containing your QR codes.
Resolving system issues: Fixing technical problems if the ticket sales website displays an error, if you cannot access your user account, or if you experience issues viewing your tickets.
